  • Manufacturer: Federal Pacific-American
  • Packaged Weight: 4 lb
  • Type: NE
  • Amperage: 20
  • Poles: 1

Description:

The NE113020 is a single-pole, 20-amp molded-case circuit breaker used for branch-circuit protection in older Federal Pacific electrical distribution equipment. It protects one 120-volt circuit from overloads and short circuits. They’re often used in lighting and receptacle circuits, small commercial loads, and replacements for legacy Federal Pacific NE or NBLP panelboards.

Federal Pacific Electric, also listed in some catalogs as American or FPE, is the original manufacturer. The NE series is obsolete and no longer in normal factory production, and only available as used, reconditioned, new-surplus, or old-stock units.

Key identifiers:

  • Catalog number: NE113020
  • Manufacturer: Federal Pacific Electric
  • Family: NE Series
  • Type: Molded-case
  • Current rating: 20 amps
  • Voltage rating: 120V AC or 125V DC, confirm on label
  • Poles: 1
  • Phase: Single-phase
  • Interrupting rating: 14 kA at 120V AC
  • Mounting style: Bolt-on
  • Trip: Fixed thermal-magnetic
  • Trip functions: Long-time and instantaneous
  • Terminal type: Load-side lug
  • Weight: 0.90 lb (0.41 kg)
  • Conductor range: 14 to 2 AWG

Compatibility: Platform-Specific. This breaker is not universal. It is intended for compatible Federal Pacific NE and NBLP panelboards that accept the NE-series bolt-on mounting arrangement. It should not be substituted for the similar-looking NEF113020. Fit alone cannot confirm compatibility for this part, and buyers should confirm through the panel label.
